Studies of wedding women's folk costumes show a mysterious similarity between the Ugro-Finnish costume in the North of Europe and some of the costumes of North Macedonia in the South of Europe.The most important elements of this similarity are the ornaments, especially the fringes.The article describes these similarities and suggests their historical origin.
