In the article that appeared on page 1266 in the November 2016 issue of Dermatologic Surgery, there was an error in the Methods section, in the following sentence: “Twenty-four to 48 hours before treatment, the PLLA was resuspended in 7 mL of bacteriostatic water to ensure adequate rehydration of the product and was refrigerated. Immediately before injection, an additional 1 mL of 1% lidocaine with epinephrine was added for a final dilution of 8mL per vial of PLLA, and the vial was mixed with a Vortex-Genie mixing device (Scientific Industries Inc., Bohemia, NY) as previously described (5).” The corrected sentence appears below: “Twenty-four to 48 hours before treatment, the PLLA was resuspended in 7 mL of STERILE WATER FOR INJECTION to ensure adequate rehydration of the product and was refrigerated. Immediately before injection, an additional 1 mL of 1% PLAIN LIDOCAINE was added for a final dilution of 8mL per vial of PLLA, and the vial was mixed with a Vortex-Genie mixing device (Scientific Industries Inc., Bohemia, NY) as previously described (5).”
