MARKERS OF THE CONFLICTOGENICITY OF INTERCULTURAL INTERACTION ON POLITICAL TELEGRAM CHANNELS: PROBLEM OF SYSTEMATIZATION

The paper analyzes the conflictogenicity of intercultural interaction on Russian political Telegram channels considered through the prism of conflictogenic world-modeling. The objective is to suggest the criteria of conflictogenic world-modeling, which indicates contradiction between Russians and the ethnophores from Central Asian countries coming to Russia as labour force. The sample consists of posts, retrieved from two political Telegram communities, and published through January to December 2024. The concept of conflictogenic world-modeling is introduced and defined. Three groups of criteria determining the verbal and symbolic representation of migrant workers on Russian Telegram are proposed. It is argued that they depend on the following factors: the nature of the interethnic conflicts, the format of the Telegram discourse, the quantitative and the qualitative features of language used by the agents of discourse. The research contributes to discourse studies, media linguistics, political linguistics, and conflictology. The results can be used to prevent conflicts in the sphere of intercultural communication.
