Abstract (AI)
Currently, in all countries of the world, various types of energy are used, based on exhaustible mineral resources. Some minerals may run out in 50 years (oil, for example), other mineral resources tend to run out in 100 to 400 years. In addition, many types of resources, when used, emit gases harmful to human health and life. In the process of analyzing all types of energy used by countries, the author came to the conclusion that already in the medium term, solar energy should become the most preferable. The following factors speak in favor of this type of energy: 1) the sun as an energy resource is silent, practically free and inexhaustible; 2) thermal, sodium batteries at a solar power plant accumulate solar energy during the day in or-der to transfer electricity to the network at night; 3) solar energy is indispensable for extensive floods, creating the proper conditions for survival; 4) installations of sys-tems for converting solar energy into electrical energy from its wireless transmission via geostationary satellites will turn solar power plants on Earth into a permanent, round-the-clock source of electricity. The approach of solar energy as a large-scale phenomenon will be facilitated by the new domestic laws and international conven-tions proposed in the scientific article.
