Аннотация. В настоящей статье рассматриваются конституционно- правовые и социально-политические предтечи комплексного изменения Кон- ституции Российской Федерации в 2020 году. На основе анализа релевантной статистической информации и существующих научных подходов автор дела- ет вывод о своевременности конституционной реформы. Annotation. This article examines the constitutional, legal and socio-political forerunners of a comprehensive amendment to the Constitution of the Russian Federation in 2020. Based on the analysis of relevant statistical information and existing scientific approaches, the author concludes that the constitutional reform is timely.
