aggregate A3aggregate A6dimerization energysingle-point energy (SPE)supramolecular organic nanoparticles
In the Research Article “Detecting supramolecular organic nanoparticles during heat wave” by R. Zhang et al. (12 February 2026, 10.1126/science.ady5192), Fig. 5 and table S9 contained inadvertently mislabeled dimensions for aggregates A3 (GlA•ToA•MgA) and A6 (GlA•ToA•MgA•SA•AzA•TrA). Figure 5 and table S9 have been revised with the correct values (1.23 nm, instead of 1.18 nm, for A3; 1.50 nm, instead of 1.69 nm, for A6), and the sentence referencing the A6 value in the main text has been corrected as well. The supplementary materials file also incorrectly reported the dimerization energy from the single-point energy (SPE) calculation as ‒7.6 kcal mol‒1; this has been corrected to ‒6.1 kcal mol‒1. These corrections do not affect the results, interpretations, or conclusions of the paper.
1
Figure 5 and table S9 originally mislabeled dimensions for aggregates A3 and A6 and have been revised with correct values: A3 = 1.23 nm (was 1.18 nm) and A6 = 1.50 nm (was 1.69 nm).
2
The authors state that these corrections do not affect the results, interpretations, or conclusions of the original paper.
3
The main-text sentence referencing the A6 value was corrected to reflect the revised dimension of 1.50 nm.
4
The supplementary materials previously reported a dimerization energy from the single-point energy (SPE) calculation as ‒7.6 kcal mol‒1, which has been corrected to ‒6.1 kcal mol‒1.

Supramolecular organic nanoparticles (aggregates A3 and A6 composed of GlA, ToA, MgA, SA, AzA, TrA)

Accurate structural dimensions and computed dimerization energy of the supramolecular aggregates (corrected nanometer-scale sizes for A3 and A6 and corrected SPE dimerization energy)
