In this paper, an algorithm for extracting the center of the light stripe is proposed, which can adapt to various width changes. The algorithm obtains the initial center of the light stripe based on skeleton refinement, and then obtains the light stripe of nearly equal width by Bazen method. Finally, the Steger algorithm is used to extract the light stripe accurately.
1
Applied the Bazen method to normalize the stripe to nearly equal width before final extraction.
2
Initial stripe centers are obtained via skeleton refinement to handle irregular shapes.
3
Proposed an algorithm that extracts light stripe centerlines while adapting to large variations in stripe width.
4
Used the Steger algorithm after width normalization to achieve accurate centerline extraction.
