The article studies the world experience of countering economic sanctions in the agrarian sector of the economy.Sanctions are a punitive tool used in foreign policy.The purpose of sanctions is to force the target country to change its behavior.Among the various types of sanctions, economic sanctions are the most widely used in the world.There are various types of economic sanctions, including export tariffs, import quotas, trade bans, and non-tariff barriers to imports.According to the author of the work, some countries of the world, faced with the introduction of economic barriers and restrictions, actively involved in the policy of import substitution, in addition, relations were established with friendly countries in terms of assisting in the development of the agricultural industry and establishing trade in products.At the same time, it must be said that the development of agriculture in countries affected by sanctions is proceeding at a fairly high pace, therefore, with the proper approach of the country's leadership to the development of this industry, economic sanctions cannot fully have a global impact on reducing the efficiency of agricultural enterprises.
