Abstract (AI)
The large-quantity (Grams) of graphene oxide (GO) was prepared by modified Hummers method, which the purifying process of GO suspension was much faster by filtering dried GO agglomeration dispersed into deionized water than usually used directed filter. The GO could be easily reduced to graphene.
Key Findings
1
A modified Hummers method with assistance of a strong oxidant enables high-throughput (gram-scale) preparation of graphene oxide (GO).
2
Purification of GO suspension is significantly faster when filtering dried GO agglomerates dispersed into deionized water compared to the usual direct filtration method.
3
The produced graphene oxide can be easily reduced to graphene.
