The behavior of the total and partial pressure in a vacuum system is studied for the case of volatile liquid evacuation. A mathematical model of the process is developed that is based on the joint solution of the balance equations for gas and vapor flows. The influence of the vacuum system parameters and liquid properties on the pressure variation is found. The equilibrium pressure and evacuation time are numerically calculated for different system’s parameters.
