Семантическая классификация топонимов Приморского края

В статье представлены результаты исследования системы современных топонимов Приморского края на основе пространственного и семантического подходов. Сочетание этих подходов расширяют представления о роли свойств территории (природных, общественных) в формировании системы топонимов региона. Исследование охватывает преимущественно топонимы, включенные в официальный реестр географических названий края. Также приводятся примеры неофициальных («народных») названий объектов – туристических достопримечательностей, а также названий, присвоенных П.В. Виттенбургом географическим объектам на территории г. Владивосток и его окрестностей. Топонимическая система Приморского края активно формируется с середины XIX в. в связи с заселением и хозяйственным освоением территории переселенцами из европейской части России. При этом самые старые топонимы края имеют тунгусо-маньчжурские корни. Большинство подобных топонимов исчезли с географической карты Приморья в 1970-х гг. Это был целенаправленный процесс избавления от названий китайского происхождения. Переименование носило массовый характер, охватило более 2000 объектов и привело к сокращению разнообразия географических названий. С позиции семантического подхода топонимия Приморского края характеризуется относительным разнообразием. В работе представлены 12 групп географических названий, выделенных с учетом особенностей их происхождения и значения. Внутренняя дифференциация выделенных групп позволила расширить представление о современной системе топонимов края. Всего было выделено 67 топонимических групп. На процесс формирования топонимов повлияли многие факторы и события. Важную роль сыграло массовое расселение на новых территориях переселенцев из западных районов Российской империи (в основном из Новороссии), старообрядцев из Сибири и Приамурья. След в географических названиях региона оставила история открытий, изучения и научных исследований Приморья; своеобразие природы, растительного мира и животных; особое географическое положение региона; многочисленные мирные и военно-исторические события. Особое внимание в работе уделено структуре названий населенных пунктов. Итогом проделанной работы стала оригинальная классификация топонимов. The article presents the results of a study of the system of modern toponyms of Primorsky Krai based on spatial and semantic approaches. The combination of spatial and semantic approaches expands the understanding of the role of the properties of the territory (natural, social) in the formation of the system of toponyms of the region. The study covers mainly toponyms included in the official register of geographical names of Primorsky Krai. It also provides examples of unofficial (“folk”) names of objects - tourist attractions, as well as names assigned by P.V. Wittenburg to geographical objects in Vladivostok and its vicinities. The toponymic system of Primorsky Krai has been actively formed since the middle of the XIX century in connection with the settlement and economic development of the territory by settlers from the European part of Russia. The oldest toponyms of Primorsky Krai have Tungus-Manchurian roots. Most of such toponyms disappeared from the geographical map of Primorsky Krai in the early 1970s. It was a deliberate process of getting rid of names of Chinese origin. The renaming was massive, encompassing more than 2,000 objects. This has led to a reduction in the diversity of geographical names. From the position of semantic approach, the toponymy of Primorsky Krai is characterized by relative diversity. The paper presents 12 groups of geographical names singled out taking into account the peculiarities of their origin and meaning. The internal differentiation of the selected groups allowed us to expand our understanding of the modern system of toponyms of Primorsky Krai. A total of 67 toponymic groups were identified. The process of formation of toponyms in Primorsky Krai was influenced by many factors and events. An important role was played by the mass settlement in the new territories of immigrants from the western regions of the Russian Empire (mainly from Novorossiya), Old Believers from Siberia and the Amur region. The history of discovery, study and scientific research of Primorye left a trace in the geographical names of the region. The system of toponyms of Primorye also reflects the originality of its nature, flora and animals. Of particular importance is the geographical position of the region - in the extreme east of the state, in the neighborhood of China and Korea, on the shores of the Sea of Japan. The geographical names of modern Primorye reflect numerous peaceful and military-historical events of the past eras. Special attention is paid to the structure of names of settlements. About one third of the names (33,6%) belong to anthropotoponyms, descriptive toponyms account for 26,1% (they reflect the peculiarities of the terrain and natural environment), migrant toponyms, introduced by settlers from their native places, account for 19,2%. This work resulted in the original classification of toponyms.
