Abstract (AI)
The article presents the method of production of foam concrete, as a geonoiseprotective material. Its ability to absorb acoustic energy due to porous structure, composition and thickness of foam films is taken into account. Besides that the energy-absorbing ability of the solid phases of the stone frame is taken into consideration. The possibility of using this foam concrete as a material for reducing noise from the railway transport movement is shown. Also, the method takes into account geoprotective properties of the material concerning the pollution from railway transport.
Key Findings
1
A production method is presented for foam concrete intended as a geonoiseprotective material in railway transport applications.
2
The abstract indicates that the developed foam concrete can reduce noise generated by railway traffic.
3
The material’s acoustic energy absorption is attributed to its porous structure, foam-film composition, and film thickness.
4
The material’s geoprotective properties are considered in relation to pollution from railway transport.
5
The method additionally accounts for acoustic energy absorption by the solid phases forming the foam-concrete stone framework.
