The article discusses the current working conditions of electric locomotive drivers in the Russian Fed-eration in the context of current sanitary and epidemiological legislation. It analyzes the main harmful production factors (noise, vibration, electromagnetic fields, and microclimate features), their regulato-ry values according to SanPiN 1.2.3685-21, as well as planned changes in legislation that will come into force in 2026
