Abstract (AI)
Objective. Determining the optimal shape of the working part of the drilling tool. Methods. To increase the productivity and durability of drilling equipment by establishing rational designs, schemes and methods of reinforcing the rock-destroying tool with indenters and to solve the formulated problems, a comprehensive research method was used, including a system analysis and generalization of the results of existing developments, theoretical justification and experimental studies of dynamic impact of a group of indenters of a bladeless drilling tool on the rock being destroyed. Results. Based on the results of experimental studies, new technical solutions for the design of pin drilling tools and hard-alloy inserts have been substantiated, which have made it possible to increase productivity and reduce the energy intensity of work associated with the impact-rotary destruction of high-strength rocks. Conclusions. The implementation of new technical solutions for the design of the drill bit and rock-destroying hard alloy inserts ensures increased efficiency in the destruction of high-strength rock in the impact-rotary drilling mode.
