Abstract (AI)
Three superconducting solenoids with an original design for high-energy physics detectors were developed at the BINP between 1990 and 2008. These solenoids were protected by shunting their coils with a low-ohm distributed resistor. They were powered by superconducting converters. The features of each solenoid are described and the results of their many years of successful operation are discussed.
