Lithium residues on the surface of LiNi 0.5 Co 0.2 Mn 0.3 O 2 have been removed as raw materials to synthesize LiAlO 2 -inlaid LiNi 0.5 Co 0.2 Mn 0.3 O 2 cathode materials in situ for lithium ion batteries.
